Participate Community
People with a disability usually find it difficult to interact and engage in activities in a social setting. At Accessibility, we understand how much community participation can change a person’s well-being and we constantly work towards establishing an environment that engages people and encourages them to interact more freely.
As per the Assistance with Social and Community Participation, the NDIS may fund a support worker to support you with the following:
- To attend personal development classes
- Go for an outing or a holiday
- Becoming a member of any social group
- Participating in community events or being part of a club
- Transport for attending school or educational programs
- Visiting the local library
- Going to the movies or for concerts
To know more, get in touch with us and we will be able to guide you through Assistance with Social and Community Participation. While NDIS does its best at covering all necessary costs so you can live the life you want. NDIS may not pay for certain activities and you must confirm those with your provider.
